Time with God


Emmaus Anglican Church invites all those seeking to cultivate a deep life of prayer through contemplative practices, are curious about learning more about what contemplative practice means, are interested in talking about fostering their relationship with God to attend our Contemplative Practices Support Group.

Initial Gathering:

For those who wish, please join us at a contemplative service of Taize Prayer prior to the meeting at 7p.m. – St. Jerome Roman Catholic Church, 26 Carmel Rd.



What are Contemplative practices?
Christian contemplative practices help to enrich and focus our prayer life. Practices include: Centering Prayer, Lectio Divina, Welcoming Prayer, Taize

Why a support group?
To learn about the practices.
To reflect and share our experiences.
To build friendship in Christ.
To encourage one another in prayer.
To pray together.
