Emmaus is pleased to congratulate our own Alison Weir (Rector’s Warden) who has been appointed by Archbishop Anne as Diocesan Warden of Lay Readers, effective immediately.

Alison has been a Parochial Lay Reader since 1991. She has an ATh from Thorneloe University and has served as a Deanery Youth Coordinator (Algoma), Lay Steward (Algoma), and Rector’s Warden over the years. She has represented the Diocese as a General Synod delegate four times and has been on various committees associated with Diocesan Synod.
