Emmaus’ Christmas Giving

We are very grateful for all of the support we receive at Christmas and throughout the year. Please consider once again supporting St. Vincent Place this Christmas.

What can you do to help?

  • We are once again providing for the adults and teens ‘stockings’ in drawstring bags with toothbrushes, toothpaste, hand sanitizer, socks, toque, gloves, chocolate and  a gift card from Tim’s or McDonald’s. In addition, there is a team of four who have made over 200 face masks so that one may go in each parcel. A big thank you for this generosity!
  • Children’s gifts for Vincent Place are required for newborns to early teens. We are hoping to provide each one with a gift bag, similar to the adults, in the $15 to $25 range, looking at toys, puzzles, games, Lego, etc. while also including hats, mitts, and other practical items. To avoid duplication and increase interest, it was thought that we would ask for people to choose a focus, listing age and whether male or female. (Girl, age 10; 2 month old boy; etc.) This could be indicated on the envelope or through a phone call.
  • If it is easier for you to give a gift of money, please place it in an envelope marked “Vincent Place Christmas” and place it on the offering plate or through the mail slot and we will do the shopping.

If you can’t get to us, we’ll come to you. Please phone to arrange a pick-up of your donation (whether it’s a gift, toiletries, or cash): Emmaus Church Office 759-2545; Betty Philion  942-0632; or Judy Pratt 971-1857.

Your help in this undertaking, as well as your prayers for those in need, are truly appreciated.

We give because God gives us everything.
